Terms of service

OVERVIEW

Swiss Scriptor is operated by LANGFORD OU LLC. In these Terms of Service, "we", "us" and "our" refer to LANGFORD OU LLC, and "you" refers to the person using our store or purchasing a product. These terms apply to our website, digital products and related customer services.

Please read these terms together with our Refund Policy, Digital Delivery Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy before ordering. Shopify supplies the e-commerce platform; LANGFORD OU LLC is the seller. Mandatory consumer rights remain in force.

SECTION 1: ONLINE STORE TERMS

To purchase from the store, you must be legally able to enter a binding contract under the law applicable to you. If you use the store on behalf of a business, you must be authorized to do so. Provide accurate checkout information and keep any account credentials secure.

You must not use the store or its products for unlawful activity, infringement, fraud or interference with another person's rights.

SECTION 2: GENERAL CONDITIONS

We may restrict access or refuse an order where reasonably necessary to address fraud, unlawful conduct, security concerns or an inability to fulfill the order. If we cannot supply an accepted order, we will inform you and refund the amount paid for the unavailable product.

Any restriction must comply with applicable law and does not remove rights connected with a valid purchase.

SECTION 3: PRODUCT INFORMATION

Our collection consists of digital ebooks and companion resources. The format, language and included files are described on each product page. Book covers, printed-book mockups and devices shown in images illustrate digital content; no printed book, tablet or physical item is included.

Review the product description and technical requirements before ordering. A bundle includes only the products and resources specifically listed for that bundle.

SECTION 4: PRICES AND CHANGES

Prices are displayed in the currency indicated by the store. Taxes and any additional charges payable to us are shown before you complete checkout. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion or payment charges.

We may update prices and future product availability. Such changes do not alter the price or essential terms of an order already accepted.

SECTION 5: ORDERS AND PAYMENT

Your order is a request to purchase the listed products. An automated order receipt acknowledges that request. Acceptance occurs when we confirm that the order has been accepted or provide the purchased digital content, subject to applicable law.

Use a valid payment method and an email address you can access. Orders may be subject to payment verification. We will not require you to accept a different product or a higher price because of an error after checkout.

SECTION 6: DIGITAL DELIVERY

Purchased content is supplied electronically after payment confirmation and any applicable order checks. Delivery details are explained in our Digital Delivery Policy. Where a delivery time is stated before purchase, it forms part of the order.

You are responsible for maintaining a suitable device, a PDF reader for PDF files and an internet connection for downloading. If a file cannot be accessed or does not match the agreed description, contact us so we can address the problem.

SECTION 7: LICENSE AND PERMITTED USE

A purchase grants you a non-exclusive license to download and use the purchased files for your own learning and internal business planning. You may complete the accompanying worksheets for your own activities. You may retain the business plans and other original work you create by applying the material.

The files themselves, their text, designs and reusable templates may not be resold, publicly distributed, shared as a download library, sublicensed or presented as your own product without written permission. This does not limit uses permitted by applicable copyright law. Purchasing a bundle does not grant a separate redistribution license.

SECTION 8: EDUCATIONAL CONTENT

Our ebooks provide general educational information. They are not individualized legal, tax, financial or professional advice. You are responsible for deciding whether an example or method is suitable for your circumstances and obtaining qualified advice where needed.

We do not guarantee revenue, profit, sales, advertising results or a particular business outcome. This statement does not limit our obligation to supply the content described at the time of purchase.

SECTION 9: REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Our Refund Policy explains requests for cancellation, duplicate payments, missing delivery and defective or misdescribed content. A voluntary change-of-mind refund is generally unavailable once the digital content has been supplied or accessed, subject to the exceptions in that policy and applicable law.

A statutory withdrawal right is not lost merely because these terms say a product is digital. Where applicable, any loss of that right requires the legally prescribed consent, acknowledgment and other conditions.

SECTION 10: OPTIONAL TOOLS AND THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The content or store may refer to third-party tools and websites. Their availability, charges and terms are determined by their providers. Review those terms before using an external service or submitting personal information.

A reference does not guarantee the provider's performance or make us responsible for an independent third-party service. This does not exclude responsibility that applicable law places on us.

SECTION 11: FEEDBACK AND SUBMISSIONS

If you send feedback or a support request, you must have the right to provide the material and must not disclose confidential information belonging to another person. We may use feedback to address your request and improve our content or service.

Sending a message does not transfer ownership of your independent work to us. Public use of a customer testimonial, image or identifying case study requires appropriate permission.

SECTION 12: PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not send full payment-card numbers, card security codes or account passwords in a support message.

SECTION 13: ERRORS AND CORRECTIONS

We may correct inaccurate descriptions, pricing or other store information. If an error affects your order, we will explain it and offer an appropriate resolution. We will not make a material substitution or impose additional charges without your agreement.

Nothing in this section removes a remedy for content that is not supplied or is not as described.

SECTION 14: PROHIBITED USES

You must not upload malicious code, bypass access controls, obtain another customer's files or personal information, send fraudulent requests, or use our materials in a way that infringes intellectual property or violates applicable law.

Do not publish or sell our files, share private download links, remove attribution to conceal copying, or misrepresent an affiliation with Swiss Scriptor.

SECTION 15: WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

We aim to provide the digital content described in the store, but do not promise uninterrupted website availability or the commercial success of methods discussed in an ebook. Any exclusion of an implied warranty applies only to the extent the applicable law permits.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect business losses arising from your independent decisions when applying educational material. We do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights concerning supply, quality, description and refunds are preserved.

SECTION 16: TERMINATION

We may suspend access to the store or a download link to investigate reasonably suspected fraud or a material breach of these terms. We will use measures proportionate to the issue and respect applicable law.

Termination does not erase an existing obligation to supply conforming content, return a payment where required or respond to a valid consumer claim. A license may be withdrawn for a substantiated material breach where lawful.

SECTION 17: SEVERABILITY AND AGREEMENT

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. These terms and the policies and product details incorporated into your purchase describe the agreement for that order.

This section does not override a specific commitment we made to you or prevent reliance on information that the law treats as part of the contract.

SECTION 18: APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES

The law governing a transaction and the courts with jurisdiction are determined under the applicable legal rules. These terms do not require you to waive mandatory protections or bring a claim exclusively in a location where the law does not require you to do so.

Please contact us first if there is a problem with an order. Doing so does not restrict access to a regulator, a lawful dispute procedure or a competent court.

SECTION 19: CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms for future transactions. The version applicable to an accepted order remains the version supplied for that order, unless a lawful change is agreed or required by law. The update date is displayed on this page.

SECTION 20: CONTACT INFORMATION

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@swiss-scriptor.com.
